The TIRE that WOULD NOT MOVE!

There are about 4 BIG tires at Bridgeport. They are big and white can't miss them well at least I can't. Any how two weeks ago hit my 2nd tire of season and as most of you don't know is I have dreams about hitting them tires once a week Friday the night before race night. Mom tells me she hears me saying "NO TIRE ... NO TIRE..." in my sleep of course. But all jokes aside them tires are no fun which means IM plan to stop hitting them but I swear they move out when I go by them. Anyhow the last week of racing Friday we took my car #88 and the new car of the 8jr out just to get some much needed track time, and it came out for the benefit we tried some new things on both cars and it end up benefiting me tremendously. My car has never been as fast and consistent as it was Friday night we were very impressed and the car was very good. Saturday in the heat race for the first time the car would run like a raped ape and which ended up being one of the most funnest runs I have ever had in my racing career. I didn't win the heat but I was surely competitive and that's really what I want. I hate starting up front and going backwards I really want to compete to be able to come from rear of heats under green and qualify if I do that I will be extremely happy. Anyhow Saturday feature time I basically messed up got into someone and spun my self around and cost a point leader "Billy Harris" and a couple other cars a DNF. Which Billy is one of my good friends when he got into me I felt really bad and also cost Ron Roberts some money along with some others which I apologize for. I know how hard it is fixing wrecked cars IM in the shop fixing my mistakes and learning from them. On an up note I got car back together for this week Friday we took it out again to practice to make sure she would be all right for today and it was faster then last Friday and everything was fine. But then today Saturday we got rain so we will take it back out next Friday again to get some more laps which I would like to thank Bridgeport for doing it really helps me out to get more track time and LEARN which in time will benefit you because their will be less cautions! So once again I would like to thanks my sponsors for there continued support and my crew for there support on my tire hitting, turn two blocking, self.....
CYA next Saturday........ Rob Pierce
