G.A.R. Motorsports Team News: June 20, 2003

    Rain has been taking over our racing season. We have had more rain outs
than races. After two attempts last weekend to race we finally got a heat race in and got my 2nd career heat win. Which was my first of season. Hopefully there will be alot more to come. I would like to thank Bridgeport Speedway in their efforts with trying to race last weekend. I know alot of people had complaints about not getting rain checks. I believe that if you are a firm support of the speedway you should not have complains. These track this season have been hurting tremendously, I know I don't want to see anything happen to Bridgeport or even New Egypt. So please try having some sympathy to them guys they are trying to hang on to a losing battle.    

So in the mean time we have been attending different tracks and have been seeing some good racing. Just wish we could get a full weekend of our own racing in. Adam Schwegel is going to be running weekly this season at Bridgeport. He
has said that the car is a good car and that he can’t wait until he gets out there every weekend.
    G.A.R. Motorsports is hoping to attend some different tracks this season, like New Egypt and Big Diamond for practice sessions. We are trying to work that out now.

Schwegel at the Millville Car Show coming up in August. The cars will be on
display out front of AM1440.
