Team News Feb 16, 2002 : With season start weeks away GAR Motorsports is getting everything in line to get ready for two practice days at Bridgeport Speedway. These practice days will be crucial to the improvement of rookie driver Rob Pierce getting an average of 70 laps a day and getting two of them days will help tremendously to the development of his racing ability and will shake down the car to make sure all the bugs are out for opening day. We had to cancel are plans for going to Granite Run Mall show which we are highly regretful for doing the show is going to be great and will give drivers and there teams tremendous amount of exposure, but in order to go to the show we possibly could not be prepared the way we want to be for the practice day on March 9th. With 2nd car which Adam will be driving the 8jr still waiting for sponsorship to be finalized and also hoping to get car out for opening day as well. Adam is looking forward to getting back in car and having a good time out there. We are confident that we both can run good this season in my case at least qualify every week which is not easy at all. So this season should be fun cant promise you anything but that'll try my best to make right decisions on and off the track and hopefully all them Go-Kart Speedway laps pay off...... One more thing my car shoudl eb gettign lettered shortly photos will be posted on SJDR so you can check them out.. CYA Opening Day Rob Pierce www.garmotorsports.com
