Off Season Update December 25th 2001

Well here we are at Christmas and man do I wish time would slow down a little. When you have work to do and little time to get it done that time flies. We got my car back Sunday after noon and man she looks really good. Brian did and awesome job on the body their will be photos posted also of the new look for 2002 on the #88. Speed Palace has treated us great with 30 cars they have to build this off season they manage to sneak my car in their and many others and get the job done quickly and the quality is second too none. We are looking for my car to be done with in the next month and be ready for the motor. The motors are at Lucas Racing Engines head quarters getting freshened and innovated. We do have two new secondary sponsors signing on for 2002 season MLE Roofing based in Millville NJ and Satellite Systems 2 , www.satellitesystems2.com . Undecided which sponsors will go where. Their will be more sponsorship announcements after the new year so please keep posted to site for any sponsorship changes.     Now time for the personal stuff, I plan on going to the Motorsports show will be down there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. GAR Motorsports cars will not be their because we have been to busy working on them and feel we can not have a car ready for the show. So we will pass this year with plans of putting cars on display next year 2003. Just recently went too SJDR X-mas Bash had a good time with the SJDR crew wont go into too much detail on this issue, but everyone had a good time and looking forward to doing it again and really looking forward to Nicky's and Pete's bash in 2002. We plan on having both cars ready for practice days for Speed Palace and the tracks practice day. Sponsorship announcements will be coming in the coming months as time runs down to opening day. Anyone who would like information on becoming part of GAR Motorsports can contact me at pitcrew90@aol.com for further info.                  www.garmotorsports.com

Little Reminder During The Holidays

I just recently had a school mate killed in a car accident, he was 19 far as I know he was good kid and had alot to live for. Well the reason I mention this is because it was not just no ordinary car accident the car that hit him the driver was drunk. His truck flipped 3 times he was thrown out the window they said in the paper he was in critical condition for 2 hours. Enough with the details, just please don't drink and drive if you drink too much call me ill come get ya or call a cab!

Happy Holidays, Rob Pierce
