News November 14th 2002

The racing season for the 2002 season is over for GAR Motorsports. Now its time to sit back and order an S & J Pizza, Drink some Pepsi, and relax ? "Ya Right".  Now is the time of year when we strip down the cars and rebuild them for 2003 season. But first we must get ready for Thanksgiving parades November 29th and 30th. Which we invite anyone and everyone to come join us. The 29th is the Millville Parade which is on High St. in Millville NJ. The 30th is Vineland parade which is on Landis Ave in Vineland NJ.  The 2002 season was pretty promising for GAR Motorsports we got our first heat win, even though I started on the pole was a good accomplishment. I see many more in the near future for us but we take what we get and ride on. I would like to thank once again my sponsors for there support all season, they have been great to me and our race team with out them we could not be here. My crew once again has helped me through thick and thin and I thank them for there continued support. We will be running same cars Adam will be in 8jr and running full season and I will be in the AM1440 Favorites #88. Same sponsors will be with the #88 car with hopefully some new faces in the mix. We do have a change in our engine program we are now going to use T/K High Performance. We researched the subject and decided it was time to move to the next level. We do thank Lucas Race Engines for his help and support through the last two seasons. I will most likely be attending Bridgeport Speedways Banquet February 1st at Massos Crystal Palace. Thanks to my fans for rooting me on I know sometimes its rough to watch but I'll get better. Thanks have a safe off season... Rob Pierce
